He is survived by: his granddaughter Dr. Katie Zuber; his wife Geraldine; his sister Doris Evans; his children, David Coon (Ann) and Mary Ellen Gaikema (David); his grandsons, Erik Coon, Robert Coon (Bethany), Mackenzie George Gaikema (Taylor) and Joseph Gaikema; and his stepchildren, Kathy Cole (Doug Baker), Melissa Zuber (Ray Grzywacewski) and Al Palmer (Mary). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
