He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Formolo; his children, William Formolo (Arlene), Martha Formolo (Daniel Hoban), Kevin Formolo (Leslie) and Francesca Formolo; his grandchildren, Amanda Marcozzi (Sam), Catherine Evans (Daniel), Sarah Hodsdon (Tim), Matthew Ferency (Jennifer) and Peter Ferency; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Emery, Ben, Noah, Abigael, Alex, McKenna and Xia; and his parents, Ernesto Formolo and Eugenie Franzoi. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and related by marriage, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Francis' name may be made to the Michigan Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund.
