He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bauer and Emma Bauer (Mosner); his wife Dorothy Weiss; his son Gary; and his siblings, Edna Tafel, Ray Bauer and Marie Eggars.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Bauer Stahlke (Les), Fred Bauer (Susan), Gene Bauer (Adelene), Dale Bauer and Carol Martin (Tom). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
