She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Conner and Ruth Conner; her sister Darlene Hall; her husband Ray Gilsdorf; and her siblings, Marcella Tate and Harry Conner. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the church in Dona's name.
