She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Oatman and Eliza Oatman; her sister Jacqueline Oatman; and her nephew Jeffrey Hemple. She is survived by: her husband Donald Cowsert; her daughter Susan Abbey (Ken) of Rochester Hills, MI; her sister Marlene Hughey (Robert) of Linden, MI; and her nieces and nephews, Gregory Hughey, Linda Lorenz (Michael), Leslie Davis (Bill), Brian Hughey (Karen) and Judith Hemple (Charlie Southerland).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Oakland Literacy Council (Michigan).
