He was predeceased by: his wives, Agnes Schupbach and Betty Hoxsey; and his stepchildren, Marie Adams, Don Lawrence (Laverne), June LaBarge and Brenda Scheele.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryle Prahler (Bill), Art Schupbach (Sharon), Carol Arnold (Gene), Tammy Potter (John) and Todd Schupbach (Dawn); his stepchildren, Bob Lawrence (Marge), Frank Lawrence (Kathy), Sandy Hartsig (George), Chris Lawrence (Catherine) and Steve Lawrence (Debbie); and his sister Lucille Dodge. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
