It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Algirdas A. Juocys (Rochester, Michigan), who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vanda Juocys (Mineikite) and Pranas Juocys. He is survived by: his wife Ewa Matuszewski; his daughters, Emilia and Gabriela (Adam Goess); and his grandson Henry.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic he organized and directed numerous community pop-up vaccination and wellness clinics in underserved communities throughout southeast Michigan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Legion.
