He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gee and Gim Gee; his wife Sonja Gee; and his siblings, Rose Yee (late Hyman) and Raymond Gee (Diane Kauten).
He is survived by: his son Steven Gee (Annie Lee); his grandchildren, Summer Gee and River Gee; his sister Lily Gee (Bob Hollenshead); his close friends, Tyrone Tartt and Bob Hortop; his friends, Chevrolet Corvair, Tim and Julia; and also, Ella, Charlie and Tucker.
