Richard H. Spiess Obituary
We bid farewell to Richard H. Spiess of Rochester Hills, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 30, 2024 at the age of 86. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Spiess and Lorraine Spiess (Poppeck); his wife Gail; and his stepgrandson Landon Mabry. He is survived by: his parent-in-law Gail Nichols; his family Royal Oak; his children, Mark (Callie), Lynne (Mike Dancik) and Laura Mulligan (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica (Nick), Rachel, Katelynn, Michael and Holly; and his siblings, Bill (Karen) and Kathy Neal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Shepherd Lutheran Church (2225 E 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009).
Memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church or Rochester Rotary Club.
