He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon (Jane Dear) and Richard; his wife Lorene; and his stepchild Gayle. He is survived by: his nephews, Richard Prewitt (Judith), Mark Bronersky (Nanette) and Michael Murray; and his grandchildren, Sarah Noell and Robert Noell.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
