He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Djuste; his children, Nikola Dushaj (Snezana), Deda Dushaj (Besa), Teresa Sinishtaj (late Lleshi) and Gjerj Dushaj; and his grandchildren, Gjon, Vera, Kristina, Valentina, David, Suzana and Simon.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). The lying in state was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Albanian Catholic Church (525 W Auburn Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
