In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Philip had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Philip may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shannon; his children, Kathryn Shannon (Timothy Sierz) and Christopher Shannon (Eric Russo); his grandchildren, Akira Sierz and Tatsuya Sierz; and his brother Matt Shannon.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul's United Methodist Church (620 Romeo Rd, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
