He was predeceased by: his parent Pjeter; his children, Edmond Kacaj and Leonora Kacaj; and his siblings, Ejllo Kacaj (Leze) and Ndue Kacaj.
He is survived by: his wife Vera; his daughter Justina Gashaj (Dod); his grandchildren, Rajmonda, Romino, Renaldo and Rovena; and his sibling Marash Kacaj (Lule).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Albanian Catholic Church (525 W Auburn Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
