She is survived by: her daughters, Arlene Mele (Robert) and Carol Zalewski; her grandchildren, Robert Mele (Lisa) and Melissa Adorjan (Alan); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Colette Mele, Isabella and Alexander Adorjan.
In her free time, Louise enjoyed reading and volunteering her time with the Alzheimer's Fund, Juvenile Diabetes, Historical Museum, Salvation Army, and the Michigan Humane Society.
