She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sherman Lamont and Beatrice Maggitt Lamont; her husband William Zurgable; and her close friend Jerry Giachino. She is survived by: her children, Michael Zurgable (Penni), Christopher Zurgable (Kim), Julie Zurgable and Jeffrey Zurgable; and her grandchildren, Jessie, Derek and Lydia.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home (339 Walnut Blvd, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
