He was predeceased by: his father Gary Shanburn. He is survived by: his mother Victoria Katulski; his significant other Tiffany Braun; his daughters, Breana Brodzinski (Joel) and Alyssa Shanburn (Cole Peterson); his siblings, Celeste Shanburn, Gary Shanburn (Jeanne), Jeremy "Moe" Shanburn and David Tate (Aleta); and his daughter Christina Metz (Mitch).

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
