He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Sanborn and Beverly Sanborn (Johns); his wife Karen Sanborn; his sons, Michael Scofield of Gordon Sanborn, II and Jason Scofield (Lori); and his siblings, Don Brown, Eric Sanborn (Lisa), Brian Sanborn (Selina) and Dawn Wing. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
