He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Zaharoula Dedes; his children, Eleni Tasigiannis (George) and John Dedes (Angie); his grandchildren, Loukas Tasigiannis (Michelle), Janet Pagonas (Marios) and Panagiotis Dedes; his great grandchild George Loukas Tasigiannis; and his siblings-in-law, Zaharias Zaharias, Panagiotis Zaharias (Aleka) and Athina Anadioti. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
