She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Melina Duran (German Franco), Jose Duran, Angela Duran (Oscar Mejia), Milagros Duran (Kevin Gomez) and Jaime Duran; her parents, Angelita Flores Zambrano and Francisco Banales Abarra; her siblings, Lily, Francisco, Bertha, Maricela, Fabiola, Patricia, Armando, Mario, Veronica, Catalina, Karina and Jorge; and her grandchildren, Luis, Isabel, Rosana, Quetzali, Yaretzi, Yaireli, Jose, Kevin and Brizeida.
