With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Julius Lucas Jr. (River Rouge, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 23, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius George and Vivian Marie Lucas (Lemble); his daughter Nancy Lucas Wigginton; and his sister Eileen Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, George III Lucas (Linda) of Orion, Gerald Lucas (Vicki) of Southgate, Jason Lucas of Houghton Lake, Michael Lucas of Hampton, Virginia and Lynn Majeske (Thomas) of Southgate; his sister Shirley Sikora of Rowlett, Texas; and his brother-in-law Robert Christie (Doris) of Cedarville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
