It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Powers (Riga, Michigan), born in Frontier, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shiffler and Zela Shiffler (Dressler); her husband Gerald Powers; her son Mark; her son-in-law Jeff Simon; and her siblings, Wallace and Leona.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Simon, Scott Powers (Nancy) and Dawn Rowe (Jim); her siblings, Lilah Francisco (Jim), Wendell Shiffler (Judy), Walter Shiffler (Linda) and Willis Shiffler (Debbie); and her sister-in-law Anna Shiffler. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
