He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hearit and Minnie Hearit (Pleiness); his sister Marilyn Scott; his brother-in-law William Scott; and his brother Herman Charles Hearit.
He is survived by: his significant other Priscilla Landra; his children, Kim Hurst (Mike) of Shelby Twp, Karen Distelrath (Don) of Columbus Twp and Kevin Hearit (Susan) of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Ashley, Nikki, Emily, Ethan, Stephanie, Kyle and Briana; and his great grandchildren, Micah and Louis.
