He was predeceased by: his parents, John Diaz and Julia Diaz (Olson); his sister Juanita Elliott; and his stepbrother Julius Parkis. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Mc Nutt; his sons, Justen (Patricia) of Memphis, Michigan and Joshua of Memphis, Michigan; his grandchildren, Clayton and Madison; his sisters, Denise Golder (Rick) and Maria Smith; his stepbrother Christopher Parkis (Patricia); and his sister-in-law Diane Parkis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors (71235 Memphis Ridge Rd, Richmond, MI 48062).
