It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ann Essenburg of Richmond, Michigan, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hollis and Jean Hollis (Hall); her husband Duane Essenburg; her sister Donna Bartell (Frank); her niece Laurie McKinney; and her sister-in-law Diane Schweiger (Jerry).
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Essenburg (Cindy) of Munising and Brian Essenburg of Richmond; her grandchildren, Cayla Tucker (Josh), Cody Essenburg (Hailey) and Michael Viau (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Ian, Ella Viau and Connor Essenburg; and her brothers, Jim and Dave Hollis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
