He is survived by: his stepchildren, Denise Byrne (Todd) of Shelby Twp, Lynn Hathaway (Scott) of Romeo and Joseph (Anne) of Rochester Hills; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Adam, Daniel Byrne, Sean Hathaway, Zachary, Jacob Cichon, Evan Nicholson (Samantha), Lauren Nicholson (Joshua) and Julia Nicholson.
