With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Richard Gehringer Jr. of Richmond, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard and Mary Alline Lucille Gehringer, Sr. (Brabant); his grandson Eli Herfert; and his brothers, Tom, Doug, Greg and Frank.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Stinnett; his children, Jeaneen Herfert (Allen) and Charles Gehringer III; his stepchildren, Richard Hinton (Heather), Robert Hinton, Ryan Hinton (Pam) and Rachel Hinton; and his siblings, Sass Albrecht (Fred) and Mark Gehringer (Theresa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tiffany-Young-Hauss Modetz Chapel (73919 Fulton St, Armada, MI 48005). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
