She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Swiderski and Helen Swiderski; her husband William Hopton; and her brother Stanley Swiderski. She is survived by: her children, Debra Austin, Kenneth (Laurie), Greg (Kim) and Stephen (Renea); her grandchildren, Missy Lieckfelt (Jay), Rachelle Fergin (Brad), Jordan Austin, Samantha King (Russ), Oliver Hopton (Daisy Bunch), Jake Austin (Madison), Taylor Hopton (Munt Alhussain), Woody Hopton and Max Hopton; her great grandchildren, Teagan, Beckett, Halsey, William, Everette, Rumi, Iman, Roman and Vaughn; and her sister Patty Swiderski.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors (71235 Memphis Ridge Rd, Richmond, MI 48062). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062).
