He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rock and Alice Rock (Prusevicz); and his siblings, Lois Pater, Daniel and Gerald Rock.

He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, John Rock (Jeanne Cannon) and Sarah Rock; his grandchildren, Allyson (Ryan Turnquist), Chloe and Timothy Rock; his sister Diane Strouse; his sons, Andy (Judy Kadish), Aaron (Christine Rock) and Joseph; and his brother Michael Rock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
