He is survived by: his spouse Annelore Birgit Manjura; his children, Shelly Christine Norton of Grand Rapids and Jeffrey Thomas Norton (Caron Norton) of Spencer; and his grandchildren, Joshua Norton-Calkins (Heather) of Battle Creek, Kathleen Sandlin of Cadillac, Alexis Norton of Indianapolis, Martin Norton, Abigail Norton, Nicolas Norton, Vincent Norton, Vivian Norton, Isabelle Norton and Montgomery Norton.

Memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Right to Life, the Kalamazoo Alternatives or the Alzheimer's Assocation.
