He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy VanDyke Sr. (VanderZouwen); and his sister Cheri Andrus. He is survived by: his father Marvin VanDyke; his wife Cheryl VanDyke (Heath); his children, Josh VanDyke (Rachael) and Carrie Bowman (Frank III); his grandchildren, Brayden Bowman, Emily Bowman, Alyse VanDyke, Tysen VanDyke, Aurora VanDyke and Keona VanDyke; his stepmother Barb VanDyke Sr.; his siblings, Marv VanDyke Jr. (Charlotte), Bruce VanDyke (Deb) and Jeff VanDyke (Karen); and his brother-in-law Duane Andrus (Josie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Kalamazoo Christian Schools, the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center or gracespring Bible Church.
