With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Shannon (Richland, Michigan), born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2019 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy Shannon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard O'Donnell and Sarah O'Donnell (Middleton); her son Brian Dunstan; her grandson Owen Butler; and her siblings, Marvin O'Donnell and Patricia O'Donnell.

She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Dunstan of Highland Twp; and her grandchildren, Aaron Nowacki (Wendy), Matthew Nowacki (Honor), Sarah Coull, Cory Crum, Natalie Knickerbocker (Casey), Jordan Allen (Michelle), Forrest Akemann (Tea), River Akemann, Nico Akemann and Leif Akemann. She is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
