It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John H. VeenKant of Richland, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzo Veenkant and Gertrude Veenkant (Vanderveen); his wife Betty Bland; and his sister Johanna Bryant. He is survived by: his children, Gary Veenkant (Marguerite), Dennis "Denny" Veenkant (Karen) and Sally Kenyon (Todd). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Richland Library, Gull Lake Community Schools or to a charity of one's choice.
