He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Houtkooper and Johanna Houtkooper (Smit); and his brothers, Robert and Dwayne Houtkooper. He is survived by: his children, Brett Houtkooper (Kim), Tamara Schoonbeck (Mike) and Steven Houtkooper; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Gavin and Johannah Houtkooper.
