He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambertus Ebbers and Lina Ebbers (Hendriksen); his siblings, Hermien, Riek, Lies, Marry, Albert and Bert; and his son-in-law Jim Lewis (Anita).
He is survived by: his fiancé Trynie Boersma; his children, Bert and Anita; his daughter-in-law Katie; his grandchildren, Anne and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Audrey and Antje; his sister-in-law Mercedes; his nieces, Heather Ebbers (Jeff Russell), Pam Mensonides (Mark) and Deborah Ebbers; and also Herman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
