A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 9800 East BC Ave, Richland, MI 49083.

Age 70, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, June 26, 2024. Betsy was born in Columbus, OH, on June 11, 1954, the daughter of David Ellsworth and Barbara Sue (Kennedy) Boswell. On November 29, 1996, she married Timothy Hall who survives her. She was a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Richland. She was a graduate of Grand Valley State University and devoted her life to caring for others. Professionally, she worked as a home health care aide. She had volunteered as a Girl Scout leader. Nothing was more important to her than her family, especially her grandchildren who have memories of her taking them to the movies. She will be lovingly remembered as being a good egg and will be deeply missed. Besides her husband, Betsy is survived by her children Amy (Josh) Olson, Erin (John) Krzewski, Nicole "Nikki" (Zech) Channells; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Barbara Bauman; siblings, Kathy (Jeff Smith) Boswell, Susan (Joe) Geiger, Jane (Brian Paxton) Boswell, Carol Sobish, Joe (Amber) Boswell, Martha "Martie" Peters; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Betsy was preceded in death by her father; brother-in-law, Jack Sobish; and her grandparents.
