She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander F. Smith and Mabel D. Smith (Nelson); her husband Donald George Sasse, Sr.; and her siblings, Carroll, Francis Smith and Dolores Abeldt.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Sasse, Jr., James Sasse (Carla), Marilyn Sasse, Glenn Sasse (Julie Schneider), Mary Garcia (Juan), Kelly Burlingame (Keith) and Ruth Keyser; and her sister Lynn Cummings. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
