She was predeceased by: her parents, Miriam Alderton (Keto) and Guy Alderton; her husband Norman O. Kaleva; and her siblings, Kenny, Fred "Alan" Alderton, Vivian Matthews, Sally Siik, Lucille Bredeson, Karen Blau and Mary Beth Lawhorn.
She is survived by: her children, Ross Kaleva (Dorie) of Queen Creek, AZ, Douglas Kaleva (Sandy) of Republic and Sherry Vadnais (Wayne) of Republic; her siblings, Terry Alderton (Chris) and Carolyn Hendrickson (Lester); her grandchildren, Brent Kaleva (Tammy), Heather Hayford (Brian), Kurt Kaleva (Barbie), Brian Vadnais (Jackie) and Sarah Starkey (Travis); and her great grandchildren, Marissa, Logan, Kaycee, Maddie, Jenna and Tori. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
