She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Salo and Marie Salo (Bjorne); her husband Larry Maki; her siblings, John Salo and Susan Certo; and her siblings-in-law, Marion Salo, Jeannette Chadwick, Dorothy Salo and Clyde Certo.
She is survived by: her children, Kristi Thexton (Bill) of Republic and Jeff Maki (Bobbie) of Racine, WI; her grandchildren, Lee Warlin (Jenna) and Justin LaForge (Carrie); her brothers, Ken Salo (Marybeth) of Republic and Gary Salo (Jane) of Manistique; her sister-in-law Judy Johnson; and her close friends, Sharon, Wayne Sodman and Llewanne Salo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Due to current restriction of COVID-19, a private service will be held, with a Celebration of Life service to be held at a later date.
