It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laila J. Maze of Republic, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Mustamaa and Maria Mustamaa (Plukka); her husband Lawrence Maze; and her siblings, Aileen Aho, Laurie, Eino, Elmer, John (Victor), Carl, Arnold and George.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Maze (Sharon) of Sterling Heights, MI, Rhonda Casselman (Thomas) of Negaunee, Laura Maze of Republic and Don Maze of Marquette; her grandchildren, Danny Maze (Lisa), Wendy McAllister (Dan), Andrew Henderson, Jr., Troy Henderson (Sarah) and Kara Stahl; and her friend Irene Harvala of Marquette. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
