He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Theodore and Sanna E. Skogman (Risku); his sons-in-law, John Bissett, Michael Wolfe and Michael Jensen; his grandchildren, Jameson Bissett, Travis Skogman and Kylie Skogman; and his siblings, Elvie Johnson, Edith Pearce, Elsie Storlahls, Ethel Valenzio, Edgar, Elhart, Edmund, Elwood, Ernest and Elmer Skogman.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Bissett, Kerwin Skogman (Susan), Kathleen Wolfe, Kevin Skogman (Julie), Karolyn Jensen (Thomas) and Kristen Erickson (Marvin); his grandchildren, Jonathan Bissett (Mallory), Joseph Skogman, Meredith Jordan, Martin Lyyski (Deidra), Michael Jensen (Kayla), Jacob Erickson and Katie Lehto (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Amias, Emmeline, Isabella, Evan, Owen, Zachary, Alana, Leia, Oliver and Melody. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
