We bid farewell to Estella Jarvi (Republic, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 30, 2024 at the age of 104. Estella touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Eino M. Jarvi; her children, Geraldine McKenzie (Tom), Maria Laaninen and William Jarvi; her sons-in-law, Jeff Grimm and Jon Mattila; and her grandson Tom McKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Grimm of Portland, OR, Julie E. Anderson (Don) of Republic, Jacqueline Helwig (David) of Republic, Michael Jarvi (Donna) of Lake Bluff, IL and Jonathon Jarvi (Robin) of Republic; and her son-in-law Karl Laaninen of Humboldt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (110 Poplar St, Republic, MI 49879). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bethany Lutheran Church, 110 Poplar St., Republic, MI 49879 in Estella's memory.
