It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Schmuck of Republic, Michigan, born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Catherine (Stewart) and Leo James McLaughlin; her friend Luryne Gallinetti; her husband Robert Schmuck; and her brothers, Leo and John McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Wallace (Rob) of Grass Lake, Tamara Granlund of Republic, Elizabeth Hintsala (Greg) of Ishpeming and Michael Schmuck (Kate) of Ephrata, WA; her sister Virginia Tyler of Ypsilanti; her grandchildren, Ryan Wallace, Rob Wallace (Teresa), Allison Biron (Brad), Katie Adams (Josh), Shawn Granlund (Nikki), Faren Granlund, Lauren Boivin (Bob), Steven Hintsala (Erin), Andrea Hodgins (Dan), Chandra "Sebastian" Serino (Parker), Rebekah Schmuck and Emma Schmuck; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Madalyn, Garrett Wallace, Nora, Lexi, Kali Jarrell, Emmit Biron, Michael, Olivia Adams, Gabriel, Alora, Ezra Boivin, Mason, Avery, Beckett Hintsala, Isabelle and Noelle Hodgins; and her friend Julie Rogers.
