With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Maeder of Remus, Michigan, born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Maeder and Floris Maeder (Jackson); and his mother-in-law Rosella Swetz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Swetz; his children, Brien Maeder (Lisa), Jim Maeder (Jen) and Christi Densmore (Jamie); his grandchildren, Sage Maeder, Cade, Avery Maeder, Lauren, Erin and Karley Densmore; and his siblings, Sawmill, Wood Pellets, Roger Maeder (Denise), John Maeder (Linda), Diane Lintemuth (Alvah) and Shirley Kleinhans. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
