She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Drew and Myrtle Drew (Tinker); her spouse Hugh Blackmer Jr.; her children, Janet Lackie (Gary) of Anchorage, Dolores Kauffman of Kirkland and Terry Blackmer of Remus, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Scott Lackie, Stacy Lackie, Tracey Miesner, Tony Lackie and Kelly Reames. She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church 1730 East Pickard Road Mt. Pleasant, Michigan 48858 in honor of Myrtlegene's life and witness.
