It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leonard Fredricks (Remus, Michigan), who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Fredricks and Daisy Fredricks (Graf); his son Greg; and his siblings, Harold, Kathryn Pihl, Marie Kurth, Lola Brown, Robert, Leona Wagoner, Ray and Norman.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Guenthardt; his children, Cheryl Gaudard (Steve), Brian, Jeff (Jacki), Dan (Mickie) and Mary Eldred (Bruce); his nephew Mike Wood (Des); his sons, Austin, Andrew and Carson; his grandchildren, Amy Weber (Chris), Matt Gaudard (Taylor), Carrie Castellon (Derek), Darcy Doerr, Beth Fletcher (Chad), John Fredricks (Sara), Tyler Fredricks (Shelby), Sarah Fredricks (Preston Taylor), Simon, Andy Fredricks (Josie Licari), Cody Woolworth (Kayla), Connor Woolworth, Danielle Karcher (Trent), Emily Eldred and Breanna Eldred; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Carter, Brock, Saylor, Meadow, Aiden, Callie, Chloe, Paityn, Presley, Dylan, Wyatt, Colton and Baby Gaudard; his siblings, Richard Fredricks (Mickie), Audrey Glover and Jeannie Kaskinen (Les); and his sisters-in-law, Alyce Fredricks and Nancy McIntyre. He is also survived by his brothers, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 240 or St Paul's Lutheran Church.
