He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Whipple and Margaret Whipple (Russell); his wife Ann; and his sisters, Doris Barhitte and Rose Schumacher.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Whipple (Vicky), LaDonna Burgess, Peggy VanderMaas (Jim) and Troy Whipple; his stepchildren, Linda Kommar and Chris Zitarga; and his siblings, Frank Whipple, Dan Whipple (Sandy), Sue Nyburg (Jack), Alan Whipple and Lori Newcombe (Ron). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
