She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Merrill and Violet Merrill (Bruce); her brothers, Andy, Richard and Bruce; her siblings-in-law, Mel, Nancy and Mary Jane; her niece Brenda; and her son-in-law John.
She is survived by: her husband ElJay; her children, Michael Everts (Gloria), David Everts (Joy) and Cindy Thielen; her grandchildren, Kim, Kevin, Anita, Nick, Sara, Abby and Cole; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Beebe and Lois Merrill. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
