She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph West and Etta West; her siblings, Patricia and Keith (Bruce); her granddaughter Susanna; and her nephew Bruce Peasley.
She is survived by: her former husband Wally Schmidt; and her children, Liane Laurion of Bloomington, MN, Tom Schmidt of Montpellier, VT and Laurie Holloway of Saline, MI. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
