He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rose and Margaret Rose (Beery); his former wife Mary; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Rose and Jack Neubaum.

He is survived by: his friends, Frank Stevens, Henry Hoogewind and Scott Wellman; his wife Cheryl Rose; his children, Nicholas Rose (Allison) of DeWitt, MI, Jason Rose (Lisa) of Piedmont, OK, Kristin VanderMyde (Dave) of Walker, MI, Jeff Nash (Laurie) of Haslett, MI and Warrant Officer Brooks Remus of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Hunter, Deven, Dominic, Ashlynn, Kendall, Trevin, Vincent, Landon, Peyton and Connor; and his brothers, Ron and Bruce Rose.

Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to VFW Post 2335 Mecosta, or the Wounded Warriors in memory of Dave.
