He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Winget and Janice Winget (Derevage). He is survived by: his wife Julie Lynn Carson; his children, Jessica Tamay (Andre) of Boston, MA, Angela Stevens (Kenny) of Lake Isabella, Matthew Winget of Mt. Pleasant, Danielle Winget (T. J. Williams) of Mecosta and Kaylee Salazar (Juan); his siblings, Sadie Winget of Big Rapids, Cody Rafferty (Paige) of Weidman, Michael Carson (Stacie) of Remus, Sarah Irish of Remus, Dominique Champlin of Remus, Lisa Gregory (Doug), Kerri Sarns (Ron) and Scott Winget (Ellen); his parents-in-law, Mary Stanton (Mike) and Gene Carson (Cheryl); his siblings-in-law, Lisa Carson (Johnny), Kimberly Broughton (Greg), Kayla O'Neal (Jay), JoyLyn Fales (Chris), Hayven Carson, Amy Esch, Mike Champlin and Stevie Jay Crawley (Jen); and his uncle Timothy Phelps. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, (with 2 more on the way); 2 great- grandchildren.
A time for visiting and celebrating Dan's life will take place at the Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions in his name to his family to be used according to their wishes.
